Romantis for the first time participated In the CommunicAsia 2011 show on June 21-24 in Singapore.

June 21-24, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Romantis, an international group of companies specializing in space segment sales and VSAT network solutions for the first time participated in the leading Asian satellite tradeshow CommunicAsia 2011.

As a result of the productive discussions with several regional and global satellite operators, Romantis further strengthened its position as a leading value-added reseller of satellite bandwidth. The company is now expanding that business model into Americas and South East Asia.

At the show Romantis also showcased its unique and innovative UHP technology. The technology is embodied in a super-compact, high-performance processing platform which is 100 percent software definable. A single unit, consuming only 8W, can be programmed to operate as TDM/TDMA hub supporting up to 252 remotes or any node of Hubless Mesh network or SCPC IP DVBS2 modem with up 86 Mbps throughput.

Several network operators expressed their appreciation of the new technology. Six of them, including major satellite operators, ordered demonstration sets of equipment for trials.
