EASTAR UHP-1000 Full Mesh

Full Mesh network station is one of the EASTAR™ UHP-1000 router operation modes that allow creating fully meshed, hubless networks. The Full Mesh TDMA network comprises number of VSAT stations interacting via a shared TDMA channel. Each station makes use of the common TDMA channel to receive and transmit information ensuring dynamic resource distribution among both the stations and transmission routes. Theoretically, the entire network bandwidth can be concentrated just on one station and on one direction (e.g. transmission).

All Full Mesh Stations are connected to the network using a unified configuration. One of the Full Mesh Stations acts as a Master to perform functions of the dynamic bandwidth distribution between other stations, as well as takes care about network login and synchronization. To ensure Full-Mesh network connectivity the link budget shall be designed so all the Stations could properly receive transmission from the other Stations, i.e. TDMA channel. The minimum requirement for maintaining a network serviceability is the secure reception of a TDMA channel on the Station – Master Station and Master Station - Station directions, such network in fact will operate in a Star topology with the Master Station as its center.
