EASTAR UHP-1000 HUB

EASTAR™ UHP-1000 Hub supports Hub and Spoke or Mesh network topology and may serve up to 7812 Terminals. Transmission of information between the Hub and the Terminals is implemented via one satellite “hop”, whereas standard terminals can transmit information to each other only via the hub using two satellite “hops”. Mesh Terminals may communicate to each other directly just in one satellite “hop”.

Information from the Hub to the Terminals is transmitted using TDM channel (Outroute). The Outroute is received by all the Terminals, and routed are only those packets that are addressed to a specific Terminal. Outroute channel capacities are distributed dynamically between the Terminals, based on the current traffic load and predefined prioritization rules.
