EASTAR UHP-8000 HUB

EASTAR™ UHP-8000 Hub supports Hhub and Spoke or Mesh network topologies and may serve up to 64000 Terminals. Transmission of information between the Hub and Terminals is implemented via one satellite “hop”, whereas standard terminals can transmit information to each other only via the hub using two satellite “hops”. Mesh Terminals communicate to each other directly in one satellite “hop”. UHP-8000 Hub supports bandwidth friendly DVB-S2-complient modulations.

Information from the Hub to the Terminals is transmitted using TDM channel (Outroute). The Outroute is received by all the Terminals, and routed are only those packets that are addressed to a specific Terminal. Outroute channel capacities are distributed dynamically between the Terminals, based on the current traffic load and predefined prioritization rules.
