TDM/TDMA Mesh
The principle of operation of a TDM/TDMA Mesh network is similar to a standard TDM/TDMA network, but there are two types of possible network Terminals: Standard Hub and Spoke Terminals and Mesh Terminals. Mesh Terminal – an advanced mode of operation of basic UHP Terminal that allows simultaneously receiving information from the Hub and other remotes. The Mesh Terminal is also based on UHP-1000 router, but with enabled burst demodulator (which is software-activated option of any UHP-1000 router). In such advanced mode Terminals may exchange information in-between each other in one-satellite hop without any transit via the Hub. The Mesh Terminals allow creating network of any topology e.g. Tree, Star of Stars, Mesh, etc.
TDM/TDMA Networks use the same Hub as a typical TDM/TDMA network, but require a respective link budget provisioning, ensuring proper reception of the Inroute channel by all TDM/TDMA Mesh Terminals. Also such Terminals have to be equipped by stable PLL LNB.
